🌿Feb 2021 update: I’m expecting all scheduled courses to run. Group size will remain small and safety measures will be in place, subject to government guidelines (read more in FAQs). I’ll be keeping a close eye on government regulations over the coming weeks and months and will respond accordingly. Being outside is the safest way to gather together and will be good medicine for us. Courses ran well in 2020 with the restrictions, and I received lots of positive feedback that people had a rich and nourishing time. I’ll continue to provide a safe space for gathering, learning and being together in the woods as we ease into the next stages. 🌿
Terms & Conditions: your place on a Native Hands event is secured by booking and paying in advance, in full.
If you’re unable to attend an event you’ve booked on, I will give you an 85% refund if I’m able to fill your place. Or you can give your place to a friend, just let me know their name and contact details. Bookings are not transferable from one event to another.
Please bear in mind that I offer these events (where the group size is small) as a sole trader and I regret I’m not in a position to give refunds without your place being filled. When booking with Native Hands, you’re buying a ticket for an event, just as you would be for a music festival etc, where it’s accepted practice that refunds/transfers are not given.
In the unlikely event of Native Hands cancelling the event, you’ll receive a full refund.
Gift vouchers: once you’ve received booking confirmation for your chosen event, you’re considered fully booked onto that event. If you cancel or fail to attend when using a gift voucher, no refunds/credit/transfers can be given. If the cost of the event you wish to attend is less than the value of your voucher, no refund or credit will be possible. Gift vouchers are valid for one calendar year from purchase date.
Age suitability: Native Hands events are designed for adults, unless otherwise stated (as in the case of Family Wild Pottery, which is for age 7 and up). However, 16-18 year olds are welcome on all events if accompanied by a responsible, participating adult. Please get in touch before booking if you have any queries regarding age suitability.
Accessibility: most Native Hands events take place in the woods and involve foraging and physical activity. Therefore a certain level of physical ability is required. I aim to make events accessible whenever possible, within the context and limitations of a woodland setting. If you have mobility issues or other physical needs please get in touch prior to booking, so we can see how your needs can be accommodated.
Dogs are not permitted at any Native Hands event.
Alcohol: please do not bring alcohol (or any other intoxicant) with you to any Native Hands event.
